Greenwood Tree is the melodious duo of Stu Janis (hammered dulcimer, bowed psaltery) and Bill Cagley (guitar, mandolin, bodhran, vocals). Bill and Stu have been charming audiences since 1985 with their lively and lyrical renditions of traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, England, Canada, and Appalachia. Their repertoire also includes American folk songs, traditional Christmas carols, plus an occasional classical or Scandinavian tune. Greenwood Tree can provide music for quiet mood enhancement at special occasions, accompaniment for square and contra dances, workshops, and exciting on-stage performances. They are favorites at festivals, weddings, parties, and dances throughout Minnesota and beyond.

Available: Anytime; no mileage restrictions

Space: Minimal space requirements; need room for instruments

Fee: $250 to $750 per day plus mileage outside Twin Cities area, negotiable
